i. Minimum 20 years experience in any management cadre with at least 10 years experience of handling security-related issues in a large public sector/military/multinational organization.

ii. Surveillance experience in risk/disaster management.

iii. Experience in Information Technology and Security Systems.

iv. Intelligence related experience.

Skills

i. Strong working knowledge of security-related laws and their implementation.

ii. Strong administrative skills such as decision making, planning, and organizing abilities.

iii. Knowledge of ICAO Standards and recommended practices pertaining to Aviation Security.

Qualification

i. Graduate.

ii. Holding a valid Pakistani ATPL with a current type rating on one of the Commercial / Military Transport Aircraft types registered in Pakistan.

Experience

i. Minimum flying experience of 5000 hours including 4000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (minimum 2500 Pilot-in-Command hours on Commercial / Military Air Transport Aero Plane).

ii. 10 years or more experience in Commercial or Military Air Transport Aero Plane as a Pilot.

iii. Must have adequate experience of working in an Airline or Military Air Transport Organization.

iv. Should have held previous appointments either in operational management, as an Airline Pilot and Designated Examiner, or Training, or as a Military Pilot where equivalent experience in air operations would have been acquired.

Knowledge

i. He should have a broad knowledge of Air transport Operations, Meteorology, and Climatology & auditing techniques.

ii. Experience with technical training & flight simulating training devices including visual aids and synthetic training devices.

iii. Experience of carrying out statistical analysis of aviation activities and monitoring of airline reliability program.

iv. Extensive knowledge of Civil Aviation Rules, ANOs, ICAO SARPs, and other applicable regulations.

v. Well versed with IT & MS Office application.

vi. Knowledge of State Safety Program (SSP) & Safety Management System.

Application Procedure

a. Interested candidates are required to fill and submit the Online Job Application Form available at www.caapakistan.com.pk.

b. For Serial no 01, 02 and 03, Candidates will be required to upload Detail CV with recent Photographs. The applicants will also be required to send the hard copies of Detailed CV, attested copies of CNIC, Domicile, all Educational Documents, and other Certificate(s) (if any) to Additional Director HR (TM), HQCAA, Terminal-I JIAP Karachi.

c. For Serial no 04 and 05, Candidates will be required to upload Scanned Copies of CNIC and Degree / Certificate of the required qualification of the concerned position only while applying for the job.

d. In case a candidate does not upload the above documents with the online application form, his/her application will be rejected.

e. All the interested candidates must read the Terms of Reference (TOR) mentioned in this advertisement before applying for the post.

Terms of Reference

i. Age Relaxation will be allowed for the posts mentioned at Serial no 04 &05 only as per Federal Government rules. The same is available at CAA Website.

ii. The shortlisted candidates for the post mentioned at Serial no 04 and 05 only will have to pay Rs 250 i.e 50% the testing charges for the written test for which intimation will be given beforehand.

iii. Candidates not fulfilling the above requirements or submitting incomplete application shall not be considered.

iv. Test / Interview will be conducted at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta for which separate notices will be issued (depending on the number of candidates). For posts mentioned at Serial no 01, 02 and 03 only interviews shall be conducted.

v. The candidates to be called for the interview have to produce original documents for necessary
verification while appearing for the interview.

vi. No TA / DA is admissible for test/interview.

vii. The appointment will be subject to CAA’s medical fitness standards.

viii. Selected candidates will be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan as per the requirement of CAA

ix. Government servants/employees of autonomous bodies/corporations will be required to submit NOC from the current employer before the interview.

x. Successful candidates for the posts will be detailed for ab initio training of the trade and will have to execute a surety bond of Rs 2500,000 (Two and a Half Million Rupees) for Assistant Director ATC (EG-01) and Rs 500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand) for ATC Assistant (SG-05) for serving at least 10 years in Civil Aviation Authority.

xi. Misinformation and any attempt to influence the selection process will be considered as a definite disqualification for current as well as future recruitment in CAA, even if the candidate is otherwise qualified.

xii. In case, any educational documents or any other document provided by the applicants is found incorrect/fake/bogus at any stage, the services of the selected candidate will be terminated immediately and he/she will be blacklisted in the future.
