Eligibility
i. Unmarried Male Citizens of Pakistan.
ii. Age on 1-January-2021
- Civilian Candidates=16-1/2 to 21 years
- Serving Candidates=17 to 23 years (Armed Forces in Uniform Only)
iii. Height=5 feet 4 inches (minimum)
Educational Qualification
i. The candidate must have passed both Matric and FSc or O/A Level with at least 60% marks with any of the following subjects.
- Physics, Maths, and Chemistry
- Physics, Maths and Computer Science
- Physics, Maths, and Statistics
ii. Candidates of O/A level are required to submit equivalence certificate.
iii. FSc/A level Part-II appearing candidates with at least 65% marks in Part-I can also apply. However, they have to provide hope certificates from the head of the respective College/Institute.
Selection Procedure
i. The entrance test date will be intimated by respective Pakistan Navy Recruitment and Selection Centre through SMS after improvement in the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
ii. Computer-based test/e-testing will be conducted in the following subjects.
- Intelligence Test
- Academic Test (English, Maths, Physics and General Knowledge)
iii. The exact date for the entrance test would be intimated to each individual through SMS by respective PNR & SC.
iv. Only shortlisted candidates would be called for Preliminary Medical/Interview and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) at respective PNR & SC. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) standards are as under:
- Running: One Mile (1.6 km) in 8:30 minutes
- Push-ups: 10 repetitions in 2 minutes
- Sit-ups: 10 repetitions in 2 minutes
- Chin-ups: 2 repetitions in 2 minutes
v. Application forms will be issued to those candidates who qualify Preliminary Medical/Interview and PET.
vi. Only shortlisted candidates as per merit would be called for Test/Interviews at ISSB.
vii. Medical Examination of ISSB recommended candidates would be held at the nearest CMH/Naval Hospital.
viii. Naval Headquarters will do final selection in order of merit.
ix. The candidates are advised to get Ears Waxed and Teeth cleaned by a specialist doctor prior to reporting for medical examination.

The permanent commission will be granted after two years of training. One of the following degrees shall be awarded upon the successful completion of basic training.

- Marine Engineering Branch
- Weapon Engineering Branch
- Supply Branch
- BIS (Maritime Sciences)
- BE (Mechanical)
- BE (Electrical)
- BS (Supply Chain Management)
Note
Subject to aptitude and academic progress, selected officers may be sent abroad for MS and Ph.D.

Ineligibility
i. Twice Rejected by ISSB.
ii. Withdrawn from any academy/training institution of Armed Forces.
iii. Withdrawn from any bonded Armed Forces college/institution on the disciplinary ground.
iv. Tested within one year validity period for recommended candidates.
v. Tested within four months from the last appearance.
vi. Dismissed/Removed/Debarred/Resigned from Government Service including Armed Forces.
vii. Convicted by a court of law for an offense involving moral turpitude.
viii. Declared medically unfit by an Armed Forces Appeal Medical Board.
ix. Declared Unfit by Armed Forces Hospital except those cleared by Appeal Medical Board.
x. Submitting Tampered original academic certificates.
xi. Concealment of information in the application form.
xii. Candidates holding dual Nationality unless they surrender the same prior to Commission/Passing out or within a period of 6 months of joining PN, whichever is earlier.
