FCPS/FRCS/Diplomat American Board.

3. Anesthetist

FCPS/FRCA/Diplomat American Board.

4. Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine Specialist

FCPS/FRCP/MRCP/Diplomat American Board in R&PM or equivalent.

5. Orthopedic Surgeon

FCPS/FRCS/Diplomat American Board.

6. Child Specialist

FCPS/MRCP/MRCPCH/FRCP/FRCPCH/Diplomat American Board.

7. Gynae (Female)

FCPS/MRCOG/FRCOG/Diplomat American Board.

8. Accident and Emergency Specialist

Board Certified/Eligible American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM)/Board Certified Eligible American Orthopaedic Board of Emergency Medicine/Certification of Completion of Emergency Medicine Training.

9. ENT

FCPS/MRCS (ENT)/FRCS (ENT)/Diplomat American Board.

10. Radiologist

FCPS/MRCR/FRCR/Diplomat American Board.

11. Cardiologist

FCPS in Cardiology.

12. Psychiatrist

Selection Procedure

1. Online registration at Join Pakistan Airforce PAF Official website www.joinpaf.gov.pk.

2. Intelligence test followed by Academic Test in relevant subjects at respective I & SC.

3. Initial medical examination and interview at I & SC.

4. Psychological Test of shortlisted candidates only (only for Medical Branch).

5. Interview by First AHQ Special Selection Board.

6. Test / Interview by ISSB Kohat / Gujranwala / Malir (only for Education Branch).

6. Final Medical Examination at CMB, Lahore.

7. Interview by Second AHQ Special Selection Board (only for Medical Branch).

8. Final selection by AHQ in order of merit.

Ineligibility Criteria

A candidate is ineligible if he/she is

1. Rejected by ISSB/GHQ/NHQ/AHQ selection boards.

a. Twice rejected by ISSB for Post Graduate Entry.

b. Twice rejected by ISSB for Intermediate/Graduate (PMA/Graduate/Equivalent) and once rejected by ISSB or GHQ/NHQ/AHQ based selection boards.

c. Once rejected by ISSB for Intermediate/Graduate (PMA/Graduate/Equivalent) and twice rejected by ISSB or GHQ/NHQ/AHQ based selection boards.

2. Twice screened out by ISSB.

3. Tested within four months (120 days) gap of the previous appearance in ISSB except wavier granted by the competent authority. However, a bar of 120 days will not be applicable to candidates appearing in GHQ/NHQ/AHQ selection boards.

4. Dismissed/Removed/Debarred from Government Services including Armed Forces.

5. Convicted in a Court of Law for any heinous offense (to be ascertained by the competent military authority).

6. Permanently declared UNFIT by Appeal Medical Board (PUF by AMB).

7. Declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B & C (AMB cannot be requested).

8. Withdrawn from any bonded Armed Forces college/institution on disciplinary grounds.

9. Withdrawn/discharged/resigned or purchase release from any Armed Forces officers Academy/Training institution on any ground.

10. Tempering of Academic certificates/forgery/concealment to get undue advantage will make an applicant permanently ineligible for all types of Commission in Armed Forces.

11. Gives incomplete, false or wrongful information.

12. Thrice screened out by Army/Navy/Airforce during preliminary selection.
