Educational Qualification

Candidates studying in 4th (Male and Female) and 5th (Male Only) year of MBBS in Government Medical Colleges/Medical Colleges recognized by PM&DC/Relevant Authority as on 1st July 2020 are eligible to Apply.

How to Register/Apply Online

Candidates may register themselves by visiting the Pakistan Navy Official website www.joinpaknavy.gov.pk.

Registration from 24-November to 08-December-2019.

Note

Applications sent directly to Recruitment Directorate at Naval Headquarters will not be entertained.

Selection Procedure

i. Entrance Test will commence w.e.f 11-December-2019.

ii. E-testing/Computer-based tests will be conducted in the following subjects.

Intelligence Test
Academic Test

iii. The exact date for the entrance test would be intimated to each individual through SMS by respective PN recruitment and selection center.

iv. The result would be intimated to each individual on completion of E-testing.

v. Only Entrance Test shortlisted candidates would be called for Preliminary Interview and Medical.

vi. Application forms for further recruitment formalities would be issued to those candidates who qualify preliminary Medical and Interview.

vii. Personality Tests would be conducted at the respective PN&RC.

viii. Detailed Medical Examination would be conducted at the nearest CMHS/PN Hospitals.

ix. The final interview by PN Selection Board will be held at the venue decided by NHQ.

x. Final selection by Naval Headquarters on Merit.

Note

The candidates are advised to get their ear/teeth cleaned from a specialist doctor prior to reporting for medical examination.

Ineligibility

i. Twice rejected by GHQ/NHQ/AHQ/ISSB Selection Board or once rejected by ISSB and once rejected by GHQ/NHQ/AHQ Selection Board.

ii. Withdrawn from any Academy/Training Institution of Armed Forces on any ground.

iii. Withdrawn from any bonded Armed Forces college/institution on disciplinary grounds.

iv. Dismissed/removed/debarred from Government Services including Armed Forces.

v. Convicted in a Court of Law for an offense involving moral turpitude.

vi. Declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B&C (AMB cannot be requested).

vii. Declared unfit by any Armed Forces Hospital except those cleared by Appeal Medical Board.

viii. The candidature of a candidate who will temper his/her academic certificates, conceal or give wrong information to gain an undue advantage will be canceled and declared permanently ineligible for all types of commission in the Armed Forces.

ix. Candidates holding dual Nationalities unless they surrender the same prior to commissioning/passing out or within the period of 6 months of joining PN whichever is earlier.

Stipend Money

i. During cadetship, an M Cadet shall be entitled to receive a lump sum amount of Rs 18583 (Rupees eighteen thousand five hundred and eighty-three) per month as stipend.

ii. The selected candidates for the M cadet scheme will be reimbursed with the total expenditure incurred by them for the successful number of years completed by them prior to joining the scheme on their successful completion of medical education and commissioning in Pakistan Navy Medical Branch. This lump sum grant will not exceed Rs 222996 Rupees (Rupees Two hundred twenty-two thousand nine hundred ninety-six only) per annum in any case.

Important Points

i. An M Cadet after his/her enrolment under this scheme shall continue to study in the Medical College in which he/she is on roll until the completion of Medical graduation, however, during that period he/she shall be subject to the Pakistan Navy Regulations and orders made thereunder.

ii. After completion of 5 years of MBBS studies, an M Cadet will join Pakistan Navy Naval Academy for basic training. House job of M Cadets will be conducted at PN Hospitals upon successful completion of basic training.

Bond

i. Final selected candidates will sign a bond to serve Pakistan Navy for a minimum of 7 years. The bond will be effective from the date of completion of basic training.

ii. In case he/she is not considered suitable for being commissioned in Pakistan Navy on medical/other grounds, he/she will have to serve as a Civilian Medical Practitioner for 7 years.
