Karachi Port Trust KPT requires the services of staff on a contract basis for three years. Age relaxation will be given as per the Government rules.

The last date to apply is March 11, 2024. Applicants already in Government service must apply through the proper channel. Pilot (BPS-19): Master Mariner (Foreign-Going Ships) with at least 03 years of command experience on Board Seagoing vessels and 05 Years as Mate / Chief Officer.
Gynecologist (BPS-19): FCPS, FRCOG, MRCOG, or American Board Diplomat Post Graduate Diploma having 15 years of experience.
2nd Engineer (BPS-18): Valid First-Class Certificate of Competency (Motor / Diesel) with 5 years of watch-keeping and maintenance of diesel engines experience on board marine crafts after acquiring a 1st Class Certificate of Competency.
Mechanical Engineer (BPS-18): B.E (Mechanical) from a recognized University or a valid 1st Class Certificate of Competency (Diesel) with 5 years practical experience in mechanical engineering works or 5 years of watch-keeping and maintenance of diesel engines experience on board marine crafts after acquiring the 1st Year Class COC.
Tug Commander (BPS-18): Valid Class-II Deck Certificate of Competency of Chief Mate with 03 years experience of sailing on board Foreign Going Ship as a mate.
Assistant Surgeon (BPS-18): Post Graduate Fellowship such as FCPS (in Surgery) FRCS with at least 02 years of experience OR MBBS with 07 years of experience in Clinical Surgery.
Pathologist (BPS-18): FCPS or M. Phil in Pathology or Post Graduate Diploma in Pathology with 15 years of experience.
2nd Officer (BPS-17): Valid Class II / Ill Certificate of Competency (Nautical) with 3 years experience as Second Mate on board sea-going vessels.
3rd Engineer (BPS-17): Valid 2nd Class Certificate of Competency (Diesel / Motor) with 2 years of watch-keeping and maintenance of diesel engines experience on board marine crafts.
Assistant Electrical Engineer (BPS-17): B.E (Electrical) with 1 year of practical experience in electrical engineering works.
Sonologist (BPS-17): MBBS, Six months ultrasound training course from institute/hospital recognized by PMDC, 3 years post-qualification experience in Sonology in a reputable hospital.
