Assistant Librarian, Research Services (1 position)

Support Deputy Librarian Public Services in liaising with faculty, staff and students to assess and shape the research support function
Provide referral and in-depth research assistance and contribute to marketing and outreach of library services
Prepare and deliver information literacy sessions to small groups or classes and be a strong champion of library sources and services
Perform format compliance and related tasks to standardize MS/ Ph.D. thesis/dissertations and other research outputs of the students
Assist in managing, monitoring and evaluating access to electronic databases and serial subscriptions
Actively participate in library operations by performing duties at ‘Ask Us’ and ‘Checkout’ desks

MLIS from HEC recognized university/institute with 2-3 years of relevant work experience
Conceptual knowledge of theories, principles, and techniques in order to provide effective research support
Ability to plan and conduct information literacy sessions for individuals, groups and customized in-class sessions
Thorough understanding of the use of electronic databases with advanced searching and information retrieval techniques
Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and customer service skills with the ability to work both independently and with a team
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, integrated library system, library catalogs, and commonly used research support tools

Assistant Librarian, Cataloguing & Acquisition Services (1 position)

Create original and copy MARC bibliographic records of books, serials, and non-print materials using AACR2, RDA and MARC bibliographic formats
Perform classification of library materials by assigning call numbers and subject headings using DDC and LCSH
Support and assist in the maintenance, modification, and standardization of the metadata of existing bibliographic records
Perform bibliographic verifications, preparing purchase requisitions and purchase orders
Actively contribute to library operations by sharing duties at ‘Ask Us’ and ‘Checkout’ desks

MLIS from HEC recognized university/institute with 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an automated environment
Theoretical knowledge of basic concepts, issues, and trends in handling metadata and cataloging services
Understanding cataloging principles, standards, and tools with knowledge of copy and original cataloging
Familiarity with the publishing market, library suppliers and vendors
Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and technical skills with the ability to work both independently and with a team
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, integrated library system, library catalogs, and commonly used research support tools like MarcEdit

Senior Manager (Operations and Maintenance) (1 position)

The incumbent will be responsible for Operations & Maintenance ensuring maximum reliability/availability/performance optimization of all Electrical equipment installations
Will be responsible for Operations & Maintenance Strategy, develop and implement preventive maintenance programs/procedures
Initiate and lead system upgrades and is able to suggest best practices
Hands on knowledge of maintaining HVAC system, elevators, power supply, power distribution system, and renewable energy solutions related experience

Education: Degree in Electrical/Electronics from PEC recognized Engineering University
Experience: At least 10-12 years
The incumbent must be well versed with MS Office and should have excellent communication, interpersonal and Managerial skills
