Minimum Qualification/Experience
i. MBBS or an equivalent medical qualification recognized by the PMDC and the following postgraduate qualification in the subject.
DSc, Ph.D., MD, MPhil (Pak) or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC and
5 years teaching experience in the subject as Assistant Professor or an equivalent position recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) in the basic specialties and at least 3 research papers published in a standard medical journal while working as Assistant Professor.
Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical journal and teaching experience in a recognized institution.
ii. If none of the above qualifications is available then
Post-graduate Minor Diploma in the subject recognized by the PMDC and 3 years teaching experience as Demonstrator. AND
7 years experience as Assistant Professor and at least 5 research papers published in a standard medical journal while working as Assistant Professor.
Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical journal.
Note
