Minimum Qualification/Experience

a. MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC.

b. Registered with PMDC.

c. The following postgraduate qualification.

i. FCPS / MD / MRCP / Diplomat American Board in relevant specialty or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC.

ii. FCPS (Paediatrics) / MD (Paediatrics) / MRCP (Paediatrics) / Diplomat American Board (Paediatrics) or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC with One year experience after post-graduation in the relevant specialty in an institution recognized by PMDC.

d. Five years of experience as Assistant Professor in Paediatric Gastroenterology in an institution recognized by PMDC.

e. At least three years of a research paper published in a standard medical journal recognized by PMDC while working as Assistant Professor.

Note

i. a (i). MBBS or an equivalent medical qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Medical Council (PMDC) and the Postgraduate Qualification of FCPS / MS / FRCS / MRCP / MD / Diplomat of American Board in the respective specialty or equivalent medical in the respective specialty recognized by PMDC.

ii. MBBS or an equivalent medical qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and the Postgraduate Qualification of FCPS / MS / FRCS / MRCP / MD / Diplomat of American Board (General Surgery / Medicine) or any other equivalent medical qualification recognized by PMDC with three years Practical Experience in the respective specialty in a recognized institution after post-graduation.

b. Five years of teaching experience in the specialty in a recognized institution as Assistant Professor or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC with at least three research papers in a standard medical journal.

Note

i. In the case of non-availability of a suitable woman candidate, the post shall be treated as non-reserved and will be filled on merit as notified by the Government of Punjab vide Notification No SOR-IV (S&GAD) 15-1/2012 dated 21-05-2012.

ii.
