Wapda Consultant Jobs Individual Consultant/Advisor for the establishment of Wapda Engineering University

Qualification/Experience/Tenure/Package

• Candidate should be an Engineering graduate possessing Bachelor/equivalent degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil disciplines from HEC/PEC recognized University/Institute. Higher Qualification i.e M.Sc and Ph.D. will be preferred.
• Should possess 25 years experience with PEC/HEC recognized University/Institute with at least 5 years experience of a senior managerial position
• The possessed experience should include handling of administrative, technical and financial matters including planning, development, the establishment of engineering university/college/department including familiarity with PEC & HEC regulations and procedures on the subject
• Age of applicant on the date of closure of receipt of applications should not be more than 58 years
• The appointment will be made on contract for a period of 1 year on a remuneration package commensurate with individual experience and expertise

Mandate/Charter of Duties

• To assist Wapda Authority in preparation of proposal/feasibility for the establishment of Wapda Engineering University including Vision, Mission, Objectives, Financial Requirements, Academic structure & Programs, Infrastructure, Governance model etc in line with PEC/HEC policies, procedures & guidelines
• To survey & evaluate existing Wapda HR and Training/Research facilities in order to ascertain their utilization for Wapda Engineering University and propose required up gradation
• To pursue all matters relating to the establishment of Wapda Engineering University with HEC/PEC and all other related departments

• No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview
• Wapda reserves the right to withhold the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason
• Educational degrees must be from HEC recognized Universities
• Original documents must be presented by the candidate at the time of interview
• Application carrying incomplete/incorrect information or received after the last date of receipt shall be summarily rejected
• Applications along with attested documents, a copy of NIC and 3 passport size photographs will be submitted to General Recruitment, B-26 Wapda House, Lahore
