Selection Procedure for Join Pak Navy Jobs
i. The entrance test will be conducted in the following subjects
a. Intelligence Test
b. Academic Test
ii. The exact date for the entrance test would be intimated to each individual through SMS by respective PN recruitment and selection center.
iii. Preliminary Medical/Interview
Application forms will be issued to those candidates who qualify the entrance test, preliminary medical and interview conducted at respective PNR & SC.
iv. The candidates applying for Operations Branch have to undergo Physical Efficiency Test (PET) as per the following criteria
Running: 1.6 km in 8:30 minutes
Push Ups: 10 repetitions in 2 minutes
Sit Ups: 10 repetitions in 2 minutes
Chin Ups: 2 repetitions in 2 minutes
v. Only shortlisted candidates would be called for test/interview at ISSB.
vi. Medical Examination at ISSB/Personality recommended candidates at the nearest CMH/Naval Hospital.
Note
i. The candidates are advised to get their ear/teeth cleaned from a specialist doctor prior to reporting for medical examination.
ii. Test/interview at ISSB except for Medical Branch, RMO, and Special Branch HPN candidates.
iii. Personality test at PNR & SCs of Medical Branch, RMO, and special Branch HPN candidates.
iv. Interview by PN Selection Board.
v. Final selection by Naval Headquarters on merit.
Ineligibility for Pak Navy Jobs 2019
Following are ineligible:
i. Rejected by ISSB/GHQ/NHQ/AHQ Selection Board.
- Twice after Post Graduation.
- Twice before Post Graduation and once after post Graduation.
- Once before Post Graduation and Once after post Graduation.
- However, those who achieve even high qualification i.e Ph.D. and FRCS/equivalent are eligible for a third chance.
- This chance is only applicable when there is a requirement of Ph.D. and FRCS candidates.
ii. Twice screened out at ISSB.
iii. PUF by AMB (permanently declared UNFIT by Appeal Medical Board).
iv. Tested within four months (120 days) gap of previous appearance (for not recommended candidates).
v. Tested within four one year validity period (As the validity of ISSB/GHQ/AHQ Selection Board stands for one year).
vi. Withdrawn from any Academy/Training institution of Armed Forces on any ground.
vii. Withdrawn from any bounded Armed Forces college/institution on disciplinary grounds.
viii. Dismissed/removed/debarred from Govt Services including Armed Forces.
ix. Convicted in a Court of Law for an offense involving moral turpitude.
x. Declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B&C (AMB cannot be requested).
xi. Declared unfit by any Armed Forces Hospital except those cleared by Appeal Medical Board.
xii. The candidature of a candidate who will temper his/her academic certificates, conceal or give wrong information to gain an undue advantage will be canceled and declared permanently ineligible for all types of commission in the Armed Forces.
xiii. Married to Foreign National.
