- Twice rejected by ISSB / GHQ / NHQ / AHQ selection boards
- Declared medically unfit by PAF / Armed Forces hospitals
- Withdrawn from any Armed Forces academy
- Convicted in any court of law

Selection Procedure
Intelligence & Academic Test:
- Candidates appear for an online test covering:
- Intelligence Test (Verbal and Non-verbal reasoning)
- Academic Test (Subjects: English, Physics, and Mathematics as per qualification)
- This test is conducted at designated PAF selection centers.
Initial Medical Examination & Interview
- Candidates who pass the Intelligence & Academic test undergo a medical check-up at the PAF Selection Centre.
- A preliminary interview is conducted to assess communication skills, general knowledge, and personality traits.
ISSB Tests & Interviews
- Shortlisted candidates are called to the Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB) for a four-day assessment, which includes:
- Psychological Tests
- Group Discussions
- Physical Tasks and Leadership Exercises
- Personal Interview with ISSB Officers
- The ISSB evaluates the candidate’s leadership potential, confidence, intelligence, and suitability for a PAF career.
Final Medical Examination (CMB)
- Candidates recommended by ISSB undergo a detailed medical examination at the PAF Central Medical Board (CMB) at designated PAF hospitals.
- The medical tests assess physical fitness, vision, hearing, and overall health according to PAF standards.
Final Selection by AHQ (Air Headquarters)
- Candidates who clear all previous stages are evaluated based on their performance in tests, ISSB recommendations, and medical fitness.
- The final merit list is prepared at PAF Air Headquarters (AHQ).
- Selected candidates receive call letters for training at PAF academies.
