The Project Director plans to engage professionals who meet the specified eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, and experience outlined below. This engagement will be on a one-year contract basis, with the possibility of extension for two additional one-year periods contingent upon satisfactory performance or until the project’s completion, whichever comes first. This initiative pertains to the project named “Thar Coal Rail Connectivity,” which involves integrating the existing railway network with the last mine connectivity to Port Qasim.
The last date to apply is March 24, 2024. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests and interviews. The appointment shall be purely on a contract basis for one year subject to the successful completion of a probation period of six months. The contract period will be inclusive of the probationary period and the contract may be extended for another two tenures of one year each or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
The Thar Coal Railway project is designed to link the Thar coal mines with Bin Qasim. Stretching over 105 kilometers, this railway line will originate from Thar Coal Block-II and serve as a vital link to both national and international energy markets. Additionally, the project entails the construction of a double rail line connecting the Bin Qasim railways to the Port Qasim Terminal, further enhancing connectivity and facilitating the efficient transportation of coal and other goods.
