The Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (IICT), Mehran University of Engineering and Technology invites applications for following positions under the establishment of a joint lab titled Haptics, human Robotics and Condition Monitoring System Lab under the Umbrella of Higher Education Commission (HEC) National Center for Robotics and Automation (NCRA) mainly focused on design, development and implementation of condition monitoring systems for infrastructure especially Railway/Road.

RESEARCH ASSOCIATES/DESIGN ENGINEER

Monthly Compensation: PKR. 75000/-
Eligibility : Master’s degree in Engineering disciplines: Electrical/Electronics/Computer /Mechanical or Mechatronics / Communication/Biomedical/Instrumentation with 02 years’ relevant experience
Preferred Skills: Strong academic profile, Embedded Systems, Programming (VHDL, Verilog, System C, MATLAB, C/C++) and CMS
Positions Available: Two (02)

RESEARCH ASSISTANTS/DEVELOPER /PROGRAMMER

Monthly Compensation: PKR. 45000/-
Eligibility: Bachelor degree in Engineering disciplines: Electrical/Electronics/Computer /Mechanical or Mechatronics / Communication/Biomedical/Software with 02 years’ relevant experience
Preferred Skills: Strong academic profile, Embedded Systems, Programming (VHDL, Verilog, System C, MATLAB, C/C++) and CMS
Positions Available: Three (03)

Ph.D. candidate

Monthly Compensation: PKR. 25,000/- per month
Eligibility: The candidate must have ME/M.S./MPhil in electronics, mechatronics, mechanical, telecommunication, computer systems, instrumentation, biomedical and industrial engineering
Valid GRE/GAT: Subject Score.
Positions Available: Four (04)

MS/ME/MPhil candidate

Monthly stipend: Rs. 20,000/- per month
Eligibility: The candidate must have BE/B.S in electronics, mechatronics, mechanical, telecommunication, computer systems, instrumentation, biomedical and industrial engineering
Positions Available: Two (02)

Technician/Laboratory In-charge

Monthly stipend: Rs. 35,000/- per month
Eligibility: The candidate must have BE/B.S in the area of electrical, electronics, computer, software, telecommunication, biomedical, instrumentation and industrial engineering with two-year experience
Preferred Skills: Strong managerial, writing, interpersonal and communication skills
