Multan Electric Power Company MEPCO Wapda Jobs October 2019 NTS. MEPCO is one of the biggest Distribution Company under PEPCO. The Charter of MEPCO is to provide reliable and safe electric power supply to the consumers in its Jurisdiction. Applications are invited through National Testing Services NTS for the appointment of SDO/Junior Engineers in MEPCO, for a period of one year on contract basis further extendable on satisfactory performance. All quotas will be observed as per the Government of Pakistan policy.

BE/BSc/BE Electrical/Electronics Engineering Degree in first Division with at least 60 marks or 2.5/4 CGPA from any HEC recognized University and registration with Pakistan Engineering Council PEC.

Note

Computer literacy is mandatory for induction.

Instructions and General Conditions

i. Written Tests will be carried out through M/s NTS for the sake of transparency and fair play as per criteria. Candidates will apply online on the prescribed online application form available on the NTS website i.e www.nts.org.pk.

ii. General age relaxation has already been included in the age limit mentioned above. No further age relaxation is allowed in the prescribed age limit except candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Buddhist, FATA/GB, and AJK are allowed 3 years and for a disabled person 10 years relaxation in upper age limit. Age will be counted from the closing date fixed for receipt of applications.

iii. Photocopies of educational/experience certificates are not required at this stage. However, original educational documents/certificates will be provided/presented by the candidate and the same will be checked at the time of the interview.

iv. Government Servants/WAPDA/DISCOs employees are advised to apply through proper channel. 10 years age relaxation up to the age of 55 years is allowed to those who have completed two years continuous Government service on the closing date of application.

v. Serving candidates are advised to produce NOC at the time of the interview.

vi. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview along with the original documents duly verified from HEC / concerned board/university and a set of attested copies of result/certificates/degrees/PEC registration certificate. In case any information furnished by the applicant is found fake or bogus, the candidature of the particular candidate shall stand canceled and legal action shall be taken against the particular candidate during any stage of the recruitment process and later on.

vii. No TA/DA will be allowed to candidates for test or interview.

viii. Candidates who don’t have PEC Registration are not eligible to apply for the post of Junior Engineer (BPS-17). Candidates awaiting their results are also not eligible.

ix. Dismissed/terminated employees of any organization or having a criminal record are not eligible for employment in MEPCO.

x. Candidates may visit the National Testing Service website for any query/inquiry regarding entry test, display of the provisional and final list of candidates, roll numbers slips, test centers, results, etc.

xi. Candidates shall send their and fee deposit slip directly to the NTS office. Applicants are advised to regularly check the NTS website for important announcements i.e for provisional eligibility/ineligibility list, procedures for Roll No slip / Screening Test Schedule / Result, etc related to recruitment against the above post.

xii. The candidates will also be informed by NTS about the test schedule via SMS on the given mobile number.

xiii. Candidates can also download their Roll No slips from the NTS website.

xiv. After scrutiny of applications, the list of ineligible candidates will be uploaded on the website of NTS for information of all concerned. Any candidate who has any grievance regarding ineligibility shall be required to lodge inquiry/complaint on the NTS website within 3 days of uploading the list of ineligible candidates. No complaint shall be entertained by NTS after the cut off date.

xv. Candidates shall not be allowed to appear in written test unless they produce original CNIC / Passport on the day of the written test.

xvi. Candidates, if selected, will be required to perform duties anywhere within the jurisdiction of MEPCO.

xvii. Incomplete applications or applications containing incorrect information or received after due date shall not be entertained.

xviii. MEPCO reserves the right to withhold/cancel the whole recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.

How to Apply Online

1. Application forms and other information are available on the National Testing Service (NTS) website www.nts.org.pk.

2. Fill up Online Application Form properly from the NTS website www.nts.org.pk. Pay the prescribed test fee in any of the country-wide online branches of UBL, ABL, HBL or MCB and get a receipt from the Bank.

3. The test fee is Rs 599. However, 50% of the test fee to be borne by the candidates and 50% by the MEPCO as per instructions/guidelines of the Establishment Division. Accordingly, candidates shall submit application forms duly filled in along with prescribed fee i.e Rs 300 in favor of NTS. Remaining 50% fees shall be paid by MEPCO directly to NTS as per agreement.

4. Deposited amount is non-refundable/non-transferable.

5. Candidates are required to send the signed application form along with the originally paid challan, attested copy of CNIC and two recent passport size photograph through courier service / Pakistan post to Manager Operations, National Testing Service NTS Pakistan, Plot 96, Street No 4, H-8/1, Islamabad.
