The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the commencement of the Competitive Examination (CSS) for the year 2024, and candidates who have successfully qualified for the MCQ-Based Preliminary Test (MPT) are invited to participate in the written part of the examination. Important Dates:

Application Deadline: Apply online on the FPSC official website by January 8, 2024.
Written Examination: The written part of the CSS Competitive Examination-2024 will be held from February 29, 2024 (Thursday).

Eligibility Criteria:

MPT CE-2024 Qualification: Only candidates qualified for the MCQ Based Preliminary Test (MPT) for CSS CE-2024 are eligible to apply for the written part.
Educational Qualification: Must possess at least a 2nd Division Bachelor’s degree.
Age Limit: Age should be between 21 – 30 years. Two years of age relaxation applies to specific categories as specified in Rule-6 of CSS Competitive Examination Rules, 2019.
Cutoff Date: The cutoff date for determining eligibility (age, qualification, domicile, etc.) is December 31, 2023, per Rule 5 of the CSS Competitive Examination Rules, 2019.
Provisional Admission: Candidates will be provisionally admitted at their own risk, subject to detailed scrutiny after the announcement of the written examination results.

Application Procedure:

Deposit Examination Fee: Deposit the examination fee of Rs. 2200/- on or before January 8, 2024, in the nearest Government Treasury/State Bank of Pakistan/National Bank of Pakistan using the specified account head.
Online Application Submission: Submit the online application on the FPSC website on or before January 8, 2024. Choose optional subjects according to Appendix I of CSS CE Rules, 2019, and select the examination center carefully.
Submission of Hardcopy: Send the duly signed hardcopy of the online application, along with the original Treasury Receipt and attested copies of required documents, to FPSC on or before January 18, 2024.

Additional Information for Written CSS Competitive Examination 2024

Online application, Challan Form, Rules & Syllabus for the written CSS Competitive Examination are available on the FPSC Website www.fpsc.gov.pk.

Admission Certificates for the CSS written examination will be uploaded on the website by February 20, 2024. Candidates can download them from the website; no separate intimation through post will be sent.

Candidates are advised to submit applications online well before the deadline to avoid any issues due to heavy website traffic.
